Speak Up

All care leavers have an entitlement to advocacy support up until the age of 25. If you are a care leaver who was in the care of City of York Council, this advocacy support is provided by Speak Up.

See our introduction to advocacy, to find out if advocacy may be helpful for you. This will tell you what an advocate can support you with.

If you no longer live in York that's OK, we'll endeavour to support you wherever you are living and will speak with you to figure out the best way to do this.
