The role of Corporate Parenting and Co-Production Advisors is to seek and understand the views of young people and represent these anonymously at the Corporate Parenting Board.

Corporate Parenting and Co-production advisors may also share young people’s views with other relevant professionals and within other decision-making forums.

Corporate Parenting and Co-production Advisors aim to ensure all young people’s views are accounted for, so that every young person feels valued and cared for. They understand that speaking to professionals can sometimes be overwhelming for young people, so they seek to be the connection between young people and the Corporate Parenting Board.

Corporate Parenting and Co-Production Advisors will attend the children in care council and care leavers' forum groups which run once a month, to hear young people’s views and ensure they can represent these.
