Everyone in care has a different story, and support for each child or young person will be different. We think the most important thing is that any child or young person in care is safe, happy and healthy.
City of York Council is the Local Authority in the UK which is responsible for ensuring you are safe and well, and that you have the things you need. Even if you live outside of York, City of York Council will be responsible for your care.
